We are one of the proud sponsors of the most prestigious dental competition in the world – the Panthera Master Cup.

Each year, the Master Cup looks for the best dental technician or dentist who wishes to compete with the best in fabricating a full denture. The case is fabricated in the participants’ laboratories. All participants have three months to complete their case and send it to Panthera Dental in Canada (Quebec). Panthera Dental is one of North America’s most technologically advanced centers in its industry (custom dentures, solutions for sleep breathing disorders and products for implant dentistry using proprietary CAD/CAM processes, smart manufacturing of high quality materials).

Each year, a five-member jury takes a full day to evaluate the submitted cases. Knowledge and skills, including function and esthetics, are evaluated for the entire upper and lower denture. None of the cases are identified, so that judges do not know which case belongs to which contestant. With the Direct Restoration Solution (DRS) product range, Amann Girrbach extends its integrated digital workflow to the dentist and enables laboratories and practices to easily enter into full digitization and thus also Same Day Dentistry as a team.

To make it even easier for you to become involved in digital dentistry, we are now offering the Ceramill DRS Connection Kit (Kit includes Ceramill Map DRS intraoral scanner plus associated scanning software, notebook and AG.Live access) together with a free 5-year Performance Plan as of immediate. This also applies retroactively to systems already purchased. The Performance Plan includes the software license, maintenance and updates, AG.Live access, free Helpdesk support for software problems and for software consultancy in the first year.

The Ceramill DRS Connection Kit provides the basis for interdisciplinary collaboration between the laboratory and the dental practice and is a prerequisite for working without impressions. All data as well as intraoral scans, photos, X-rays, etc. can be shared with the laboratory at the touch of a button. From here onwards, the technician can open the data directly in the laboratory design software (Ceramill Mind) and start with the design. Sharing the data via the AG.Live platform saves on transport and enables the same-day fabrication of dentures (depending on the local distance between the laboratory and practice).
